The industrial Terminal Varreux site is on one side of a small bay. On the other side of the bay is Cite Soleil.
Cite Soleil is an impoverished neighborhood with a population of approximately 300,000 people.
The poorest sections are alongside the waters edge.
Zooming in it looks like the shacks are sitting in the water! Every available space is used by people looking for a place to call home.
People see those living in the camps yet some people here in Cite Soleil live in even worse conditions.
