VOILA COOOPERATES WITH NATCOM

After the hearing of Natcom company officials last Wednesday, the Senate Commission of Public Works, Transport and Communications, presided by Senator Jean William Jeanty (Nippes) has auditioned yesterday, Robin Padberg, CEO of the company VoilĂ  who declared :

"...we have a law in force, a telecommunications law that dates from 1977, but gentlemen, this law does not provide for mobile phones, 3G, broadband, fiber optic... Therefore, at present it is necessary for it to be updated and actualized, and to begin to see exactly how it will regulate the different activities.

Yes we talked about Natcom, but we also talked about other operators. Every time that we introduce a new technology, a new player enters into the market. We have no problem with the arrival of Natcom. We welcome them on the market and we have had an interconnection contract with this company for a long time [...] We have begun to look at and test things and now with the Natcom the connections are Ok.

As an operator, we have an obligation to interconnect with other operators. For us, it's something basic, of standard, and we meet our obligations.
