PM GARRY CONILLE SAYS HE WON'T RESIGN
(Defend Haiti) -

PORT-AU-PRINCE- Prime Minister Garry Conille, more than ever isolated within the government, rejected Thursday the idea to resign in spite of serious disagreements with the Presidency these last days.

Refusing to give up...., the head of government, who was the sole representative of the power to make Thursday the filing of his documents before the Senate Committee on nationality, says to “focus on problem solving and the best interests of the nation”.

"If every time we are confronted with difficulties, and contradictions, and one must ask about whether or not to stay, the country will go nowhere," commented firmly the Prime Minister.

Stressing his determination to "put the interests of the country", and "be part of the solution not the problem" in the exercise of his functions, he acknowledged having to face significant challenges; however, considered predictable in building democracy in Haiti. Also, Garry Conille has committed to dialogue with all stakeholders towards a possible resolution of the crisis.
