Elson Naval - Wall Demolition Team Leader

Naval is one of our Coram Deo students. I have known him since he was a young child. The first time I met him I was volunteering at Notre Maison. His mother came with him to seek a place in the orphanage. He had suffered brain damage and his mother felt she couldn't provide for him. After finding out that putting him in the orphanage would result him in putting him up for adoption she couldn't do it. She took him home and cared for him the best she could. Naval thrived and recovered. He has learning disabilities but his special gift is that he is an organizer. Now Naval is a young man and is also a student in the 5eme AF class here at Coram Deo. He is putting his organizational skills to use by organizing the wall demolition team in the ravine. For the last couple of days we have been providing rice meals for the workers in the ravine and also drinking water. Women in the ravine cook the meals. It is great to see the people of the ravine working hard to solve the problem of the broken wall. Naval is in charge of the tools that we are providing for the project. Naval is a great person with a big heart who doesn't let his mental handicap stop him from accomplishing things. Please pray for Naval and the other workers in the ravine.
