VISIT OF INSPECTION OF LAURENT LAMOTHE TO THE TOUSSAINT LOUVERTURE AIRPORT

The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe made Thursday, May 31, a short visit to the Toussaint Louverture International Airport. The purpose of the visit was to inquire about the progress of work, in progress for several months. The Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the progress made, and hoped that this airport is a source of pride for the people of Haiti.
The Prime Minister took the opportunity during his visit to announce further projects of renovation and rehabilitation of public infrastructure [Airport of Cap-Haitien for $34 million - the repair of the road of La Saline (8km) and the redevelopment of the Champ de Mars decreed as a National Park]. "These projects are part of an extensive program of tourism and economic development". He also stated that the Martelly-Lamothe government plans to proceed with the opening of major projects of public works, throughout the national territory.
