THE GOVERNMENT WILL MAKE AN EFFORT TO PUT BACK THE CNE IN "GOOD SHAPE"
(Haiti Libre) -
The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, accompanied by several cabinet members, visited Friday the National Center of Equipment (CNE). He wanted to inquire about the functioning of the CNE.
Following this visit, the Prime Minister stated "[...] The CNE has problems, the same way that many State agencies have problems. But the CNE is a strategic agency for the government; thus it was necessary for us to come to physically look how things are and how we can provide to the directorate of the CNE, a support, financial and moral, so that work can be done,... so that we can give results... The results depend on many agencies, and the CNE is a key, so we want that the CNE is in good shape, that the CNE is working, and that's why we're here [...]"
During his visit, the Prime Minister found "[...] there are many machines that do not work. We have over 500 million dollars worth of equipment here, and we have seen, there are many vehicles that do not work and only a small amounts of money to fix them [...] We are able to make an effort, and we will try to make an effort to put back the CNE in good shape..."
