ARTICLE - IRRESPONSIBILITY OF DRIVERS

THE PRIME MINISTER DEPLORES THE IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR OF DRIVERS (Haiti Libre) -

Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, has learned with deep emotion, the serious accident that occurred on Monday, June 18, 2012, in the Grande Anse Department at the Glace River in flood, near the town of Duchity (Municipality of Pestel), where a bus "Sweet Love", ensuring the route Port-au-Prince/Jérémie was trying to cross the river.

Faced with this new drama, which saddens the country, especially the Department of the Grande Anse, the Prime Minister sends his condolences to the entire population of Grande Anse, as well as the expression of deepest sympathy of the Martelly-Lamothe administration, to the families of victims and survivors.

The Head of Government, while deploring the irresponsible behavior of our drivers on the national roads, renews its commitment to work to the welfare of the population. The Prime Minister, calls everyone to exercise caution, and is committed to take appropriate steps together with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of our citizens using public roads.
