STEPHANIE ANNOUNCES GOOD NEWS AT THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS

At the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, Stéphanie Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism announced two good news "... we will inaugurate Boutillier in six weeks, in mid-July [...] as you know Boutillier is a site that is a tourist attraction for Port-au-Prince. We have already started the process of not only renovating Boutillier, but also will build kiosks so that artisans can take to the streets and sell their crafts at Boutillier.
The other point is at Fort Jacques. We are realizing the project of Fort Jacques with the U.S. Embassy, and tomorrow [Thursday 24] I have to go to Fort Jacques and Boutiller to move forward on these folders. At Fort Jacques, there is a wall that was completely detached on January 12, 2010. I have already spoken with U.S. Ambassador Kenneth Merten, who will soon take care of this project before leaving his post, and make a restoration of the wall and to the structure of the fortress..."
