photos - microscope resources

The 3 teaching seminar days ended at noon on Saturday December 24th. Considering that it was close to Christmas we expected a turn-out of around 20-25 teachers. We were all surprised though when 35 teachers showed up for the seminars.
One of the comments that one of the Haitian teachers asked was about lack of teacher training in the countryside and how a program like we just had could help them. By the time Phil and Rosalyn reached the end of their stay here at Coram Deo they told us that they were going to return again. We received an email from Phil yesterday and they are planning to come to Haiti again in February 2013 and will hold teaching seminars here at Coram Deo and would also like to hold a couple of seminars in outside communities. Pray for their plans and pray for the educational system of Haiti. With good teachers, the students will be better educated and this will result in a better Haiti.
A school supplier donated a couple of microscopes and prepared slides for the children here at Coram Deo.
They had fun looking around the house for bugs to put under the microscope.
Benson is really getting a close up view.
