Sophia, Dieuferson and Davidson Clerger are Fedner's step sister and step brothers. These 3 children were all trapped under their collapsed home during the earthquake. All suffered injuries and they are doing well now. Only Sophia has some recurrent problems from her injuries. We give the Lord thanks that they are all together in our school program here at Coram Deo.
This week we received some more Feed My Starving Children rice meals from Love a Child. The school children eagerly gave a lending and to remove the boxes from the truck.
"God is Good" is the young boy who sits in front of our gate with an elderly candy/cookie vendor. We figured that he may as well be sitting at the table with the rest of the children and learn the alphabet instead. He is the smallest child in our program here. He is too small to carry the rice boxes. Sony carried him and the box. "God is Good" wasn't impressed.
It didn't take long to move the boxes inside.
The children are happy to begin another school year and also for the gift of food that was received that will enable us to continue to provide them with a meal at the end of the school day.
