photos - various - part 5

A couple of community health workers from Grace Children's Hospital came to visit our students to talk about tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is common here in Haiti and it is good that the children know what causes it, how it is spread and the treatment.

It is rainy season here now and when it rains some of the roads flood because there is not a good drainage system here. The poor drainage also creates traffic problems as well.

This back hoe was dredging a canal filled with garbage to improve drainage.

This is the physiotherapy room at Bernard Mevs/Project Medishare Hospital. We were able to meet Marc Dorce there as he was getting a dressing change.

His skin grafts on his left arm are healing well. He is going to keep his arms! The doctors worked hard at saving his arms. Marc shook my hand to show how he could use his hand again. Continue to pray for his recovery from his arm injuries.
