photos - hydrocephalus surgeries - part 5

This baby was chewing on her hand. She was getting surgery that morning and the mother was kept busy occupying her until the surgery time.

This girl was bright eyed and comfortable the day after her surgery.

This baby had a shunt installed. The mother was holding him making sure the side of the head where the surgery was done was clear.

This boy is happily lounging around after surgery!

This baby had a spina bifida that was closed on his back. Most spina bifida babies also have hydrocephalus, but this baby just has the spina bifida.
