SUCCESS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST SMUGGLING IN CITE SOLEIL

Fresnel Jean-Baptiste, Director General of the General Administration of Customs (AGD) and Fritz Gerard Chéry, the deputy Commissioner of the government announced that the prosecution, as part of the fight against smuggling, proceeded to the sealing of a warehouse located in Cité Soleil, which contained a large quantity of undeclared goods at customs which include: 250 cases of Mazola oil, 74 bags of peas, 495 gallons of Alberto oil, and 1,500 bags of corn meal...

Moreover, Jean Renel Sénatus, the Government Commissioner has indicated that this case will be referred to the Cabinet of Instruction for the appropriate actions. Adding that this action took place within the framework of the actions of the Institutional Committee of the fight against smuggling, at the initiative of Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe.
