RORO NELSON DENIES ALL ACCUSATIONS MADE AGAINST HIM
(Defend Haiti) -

PORT-AU-PRINCE - Presidential Adviser Ronald "Roro" Nelson on Monday in a press conference formally denied three accusations that have been launched against him.

Roro Nelson spoke mostly in Creole with an occasional English phrase as he denounced accusations that have sprung up in the press in Haiti regarding recent events in his life. Nelson was particularly upset that the news coming from Haiti has reached the United States.

Nelson spoke of the matter of his former girlfriend, Astride Pantal, that placed him on probation by a Dorchester County, Massachusetts court for assaulting her with a deadly weapon.

For Mr. Nelson, this event "never existed." He said in recent days he has been with the family of Pantal and her mother had cried in front of him. Nelson also said he had crossed paths with Pantal's brother who also cried in front of him.

In brief, Nelson spoke of a woman who accused him of brandishing a fire arm and threatening her.

The woman had claimed to have photos of the incident, Nelson recalled to the public that still the photos have not been made public.

The most recent event of a man of the age of 30 who was shot and killed in front of the home of Ronald Nelson, denied as a lie any accusations that it was himself who killed the man.

Nelson has asked the public not to make the radio a jury and judge him. He says that the same people that are making accusations of him are the same ones who have made outlandish claims about former presidents, such as Aristide, in the past.

Roro Nelson also defended his friend and employer, President Michel Martelly, on accusations that money being collected to send students to school is being mishandled. Nelson admitted that the money is not going towards free education, but said that it was being used to invest in Haiti.

Nelson told the press that it was the people who voted them into office.
