photos - hydrocephalus team - part 4

Angeline's health is very fragile as you can see by her skinny arms and legs. The doctors determined that her problem was not shunt related but that she had a cyst growing in her abdomen. Pray that she will be able to receive an abdominal surgery and that she grows stronger to be able to survive a surgery.
Marvens is a sad case because his mother abandoned him at the hospital. He already has received surgery to treat his hydrocephalus. Until an orphanage is found he is laying in this bed. He receives excellent care from the American and Haitian personnel but needs a home. Pray a place can be found for Marvens.
Carlo wasn't selected for surgery this time around. She will return for the next round of evaluations. Pray for Carlo and his mother out in Cayes.
This baby looks just like his mother:)
A sign on Airport Rd says "Protect me from violence and abuse. It is a right that I have". Pray for all the children in Haiti. There is a new number 511 that people can call to report cases of child abuse. It is good to see the government taking a lot of new actions to protect the rights of a child.
