Yonel's neighborhood is dense and his property is down a corridor. Because of this all the material needs to be left at the road and wheelbarrowed/carried to the site. A very labor intensive project. Reginald is scooping the sand by the metal plate full into a sac.
And then carry the sand down the road..
The same procedure for the rocks too. One at a time.
The Haitian people are very determined. Slowly but surely the rock pile got smaller.
Reginald got a good workout carrying the rocks up and down the street!
