photos - church building - part 6

The first half of the tin has been laid; except for the middle strip which will be done next.

Now 1/2 of the church is protected from the rain and sun and the tarp is used to cover the rest.

We got some more materials and the carpenter climbed up for the last secton.

Here he is nailing the last tin sheet. He is a pastor who has a church in the neighborhood. His labor was free. It was great to see how the church worked together to put up the church.

This Sunday, church services will be under a new roof. Next week the parging of the walls will be started. We give the Lord thanks to all those who made this rebuilding project possible. The congregation of this church would never have been able to raise the funds without some help. It was a good work project. We provided the materials and they supplied the labor and the result is a finished building. It was good to see the determination of the Haitian people at work.

These pics are so good, feels like I was helping them work. I guess that's what the result of prayer is. Keep the pics coming and the articles. Everything is so interesting. I like the tan background, rather than the black. Easier on the eyes.
