photos - vote results - part 19

The Champ de Mars was a busy place filled with people who wanted to show their support for Michel Martelly.

On the street along the side of the Palais Nationale protesters had rolled a tree log to block circulation of traffic.

Some people had their faces covered so that they wouldn't be easily recognized.

Since the day of the vote on November 28th the talk of everybody has been politics. Everywhere you go there are groups of people discussing their views on the election, government and Haiti. It is an important time for Haiti's future right now.

Which road will the country take and who will lead the country? The Champ de Mars is no longer a public park but now a refuge camp. How can rebuilding happen when all this political turmoil is occurring?
