photos - election protests - part 9

This is a close-up shot I took of one of the presidential candidates, Jean Chavannes Jeune as he headed to his vehicle under the watchful eye of his supporters. He is also a pastor.

It was good to see that the Hatian police and UN allowed the people to mass in front of the CEP and that they let them deliver their verbal message to the CEP.

The sound truck turned around and started to head back down Delmas accompanied by the ra-ra bands and some of the people.

We hung around waiting for the crowds to head away and I took a picture of these 2 riot policemen relaxing. It was a peaceful protest!

As the crowds dispersed traffic tried to go on Delmas again.
