BUSY DAY

It looks like rainy season is here. We have had a couple of downpours the last couple of days. This morning while we were in the Canape Vert region people were cleaning up after the river that washed debris and garbage down the road. It is amazing to see how strong water is. The cement workers finished up the cement project at the side of the house and now it is free of mud! We went down to the EDH central office downtown and made a complaint about a broken EDH line hanging just over our gate. For the last 5 weeks a cord has had it tied to a tree. This afternoon a worker came by the house and fixed our house connection. He told me that he would send out an order for heavier equipment to repair the line and to put it back where it should be. We also went over to Calens family to find out who is responsible for him since his mother died. An aunt will be his guardian. Pray for the paperwork process for Calens. The most difficult part will be on the Haitian end. With a cornea transplant he will have the opportunity to see. I had no time to put on photos again but I'll try tomorrow :)
