BUSY DAY #3

Today was a day of organizing. Tim and the rest of the team went with Ysmaille to the refuge camp on Delmas 33, where Ysmaille organizes a children's program every Saturday morning. In the afternoon the guys built a table for the outside kitchen. A few of the Coram Deo guys painted the boards on the school shelter today and the cement bosses finished with the final parge on the back corner. It will be great when the project is completed. It looks like another 2 or 3 days to finish cementing the front and the school shelter pad. The situation in Bois Neuf is calmer and Chrismanie and her children will be staying there temporarily while she searches for an area to put her temporary shelter. The police have launched Operation Dragon 2.0 and we are seeing more checkpoints on the streets. Hopefully this will catch some of the bad guys and provide improved security for the people. Time in Haiti actually changes tonight. Usually Haiti never changes its clocks. This evening Haiti will be following the rest of the world and moving forward an hour in time. I sort of am wondering how many people know that this will happen. Tomorrow, after attending church we will be visiting Paulna's village and doing some driving around the Port-au-Prince area. Pastor Pierre's son Michaelle came by the house today to pick up some baby formula for his baby brother. Because of the medication that Pastor Pierre's wife is receiving in hospital she can not breast feed. The donation of baby formula that Bill Vandergaag brought along came at just the right time. Pray for health for the mother and the baby.
