Last evening at 9:51, a tremor with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale, located 37 kilometers southeast of Port-au-Prince, 10.6 kilometers north of Belle Anse, and at a depth of 12.9 km was felt in Port-au-Prince, Carrefour, Petion-ville, and in some cities along the Haitian-Dominican border, from Pedernales to Jimani.

Panicked, many residents of these areas have left their homes, revived by the memories of January 12, 2010. Some people preferred to sleep under the stars rather than return home.

For the moment the Haitian Civil Protection has reported no damage or casualties.
