STILL NO COMMISSION OF RATIFICATION OF DESIGNATED PRIME MINISTER

13 days after the designation by President Martelly, of the Foregn Minister, Laurent Lamothe, as the candidate for Prime Minister, the Ratification Commission, has not yet been established.
Simon Dieuseul Desras, the President of the Senate, believes it is necessary that the question of the creation of the Commission that must analyze the documents of Mr. Lamothe, be on the agenda for this Tuesday's session.
However, Senator Jean-Charles Moïse, who presides the Senate Committee of Inquiry on the Nationality of members of the Government, informed that the members of the Commission will wait until having received the documents requested from the Head of State, including his residence card and the letter from the Embassy, and will also take into account the state of progress of works on the other members of Government, before starting with the record of ratification for the Prime Minister-designate...
