ARTICLE - DUAL NATIONALITY - 3 SECRETARIES

3 SECRETARIES OF STATE HAVE DUAL NATIONALITY
(Haiti Libre) -

In a statement before the press, Senator Moïse Jean Charles revealed in a preliminary report from the Sub-Committee of the Senate, to which he belongs, along with Senator Benoît, responsible for investigating, at Immigration, the nationality of the Head of State and of members of the Government, that 3 Secretaries of State are foreign nationals.

"[...] actually, there are 3 Secretary of States who hold dual nationality. We have Georges Racine, Secretary of State for Internal Affairs, who is a U.S. citizen [...]; we have Elsa Baussan Noël, the Secretary of State for Cultural and Heritage Affairs, who has Spanish nationality, and Jean Claude François, Secretary of State for Higher Education, who has Canadian citizenship [...]

...The other people who are in government, we have finished looking at their passports; we'll ask some of them to come pick up their passport, but if necessary, we can request them once again... That's the situation. I do not think that there i any other additional information..."
