Franklin Graham delivered the message and a haitian pastor translated the message for him. He spoke on John 3:16 and told the Haitian people that people were praying for them. It was a good message to hear.
At the end he gave an alter call of those who wanted to come forward and give their hearts to Jesus Christ. A stream of people started to head to the area in front of the stage.
The front area was filled with people who came forward.
Thousands of people attended the crusade Sunday.
The crusade's theme was a "Festival of Hope" for the Haitian people but it could also have been peace as well. We saw a few peace themes that day (on the tap-tap, billboard above the Digicel sign and Amos's sign of peace at enjoying the rapping of Lecrae Moore!). Pray for the people through 2011. Things are still difficult in this country but people enjoyed a good crusade day!
