photos - earthquake anniversary - part 8

We walked around the side to look at the other cannons that were either perched on cement slabs or laying on the ground.

Max Beauvoir took the stage. He is the head "hougan" (witchdoctor) in Haiti. I took this photo and we then headed off the property.

The voodou religion is a big part of the life of the Haitian people. Many have one foot in christianity and one foot in voodou. Pray that the Haitain people see that Jesus Christ is the answer.

We were out front of the National Palace and noticed a group of people (boys and men) huddled around some people. I wanted to see why there were no females in the crowd.

And noticed that these men were talking about the Moslem religion.
