photos - earthquake anniversary - part 4

UN police too participated in providing security around the palace area.

Wednesday was a time of reflection and the people flocked to the churches for special prayer services. These services began at 6:00am and ended at 6:00pm. Some churches held 24-hr prayer services that ended Thursday morning at 6:00am. The church pictured is the church across the street from our house. The church was packed with people standing at the door too.

Pastor Octave spent a busy day organizing the prayer services for his church community. Reginald is standing with his white t-shirt in the background. He played the drum as a musician!

There was a large prayer service organized on the Champ Mars. Scouts who we saw on Sunday afternoon at the Franklin Graham crusaded were once again helping out directing traffic for the Champ Mars crusade.

Families came out to the Champ Mars to worship and pray together.
