photos - earthquake - part 6

This is one of the refuge camps near Sherri's plce set up on the grounds of a church. There were several injured people who were in need of care. One lady with a bad infected foot we brought to the Belgian tent hospital for care.

This is a large tent/bed sheet refuge camp on the Cite Aux Cayes soccer field and surrounding area. There are lots of children there. Probably 3,000 people are in this refuge camp.

The Belgian government set up this tent hospital on the grounds of Laboratoire Nationale next to Hopital La Paix on Delmas 33.

The staff live in smaller tents on the grounds. Pray for their efforts. They are helping the many people who have orthopedic injuries.

The US military is active with their helicopters. We see them flying overhead all day. Pray for security in Haiti. Security has deteriorated since the earthquake

Hi Karen
We're constantly praying for you and the people in Haiti. We can't fathom this since we're never witnessed an eathquake. We also are happy to hear that Jeff is with you. This morning our pastor prayed for you as well and this evening there is a prayer service in the Hamilton church for Haiti. May God grant you wisdom and patience as you endure all this. Thanks for all the updates.
God Bless
Mieke
