MP LEVAILLANT LOUIS-JEUNE NEW LEADER OF INITE PLATFORM

MIREBALAIS - MP Levaillant Louis-Jeune (Desdunes) was appointed Saturday as the new coordinator of the Political Platform INITE. He will be replacing Southeast Senator Joseph Lambert, an ally of President Martelly.
The political platform INITE, in joint session for three days in Mirebalais (60 km northeast of Port-au-Prince), elected Saturday, March 3 as its head a new committee including a new national coordinator, informed Haiti Press Network.
He is the member Levaillant Louis-Jeune, who was elected to head the INITE party to replace Senator Joseph Lambert, who was recently strongly criticized by the platform, because of his support of President Martelly.
The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Levaillant Louis-Jeune avoided an alliance with president Michel Martelly as he did with former President Préval. He is a fierce opponent of the President-singer.
Senator Kelly Bastien was appointed Youth Coordinator of the INITE platform.
