This workshop-training given at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) is one of the measures adopted by the agricultural authorities of both countries to prevent entry of pests and diseases at ports and airports, especially at the borders of Haiti and of the Dominican Republic.

Among the topics discussed, concerning crops: the threats of new pests and the analysis of specific cases of disease in livestock, the new threats of disease and specific analysis in cattle and pigs, and more generally for other livestock.
