TODAY

Rainy season is here. Some streets in the city turn to rivers during the rain and erode as a result. The hill coming down Delmas 31 is really getting deep ruts. The sad thing about it is these ruts cause people to lose control. A pickup trucked flipped onto its roof after losing control due to the poor road conditions. Both occupants were injured and taken to hospital. I almost saw another accident while walking up to the accident site. A motorcycle misjudged the depth of a pothole and almost was flipped off his motorcycle when his entire wheel fell into the hole.
Manu is getting baptized tomorrow morning at Quisqueya. The last 4 Saturdays he has been attending baptism classes at the church. Today was a busy day for him. This morning I dropped him off at the church at 9:45am for music lessons with Ronald. Manu wants to learn how to play guitar. After his music lesson, and baptism class he went to youth group. The rains are starting to fall again a bit. Better post this while I have a signal. Have a blessed Sunday :)
