Grace Children's Hospital is just down the street from us. We are going to try and see if we can see the hockey players there. It is great to see Canadian Hockey coming to Haiti to help in the rebuilding efforts! Pray for the reconstruction efforts going on for this hospital.

$1.3 MILLION FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF GRACE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL(Haiti Libre) -

Montreal Canadiens defenceman PK Subban, member of the NHLPA and former NHL player Georges Laraque are flying to Port-au-Prince from the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport on Monday, July 4.

They will visit the Grace Children's Hospital, one of the best pediatric hospitals in Haiti for the treatment of HIV and tuberculosis, that was severely damaged by last year's earthquake and whose reconstruction is funded in part by "Hockey for Haiti"; a fundraising project initiated by Georges Laraque, who was very concerned by the earthquake that devastated the homeland of his parents and where there are still living members of his family.

To date, "Hockey for Haiti", the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA) and Vision Mondiale have raised $1.3 million towards the reconstruction of Grace Children's Hospital.
