ARTICLE - EARTHQUAKE AFTERSHOCK TODAY

NEW AFTERSHOCK AT 18KM FROM LEOGANE

10 months after the earthquake which struck and devastated Haiti, an aftershock of a magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale was slightly felt this morning, November 12 at 11h58 and 59 seconds. The epicenter was located 10.6 km deep. It was located in the sea between the island of Gonâve and Léogâne. Either 18 km north-west of Leogane, 45 km west northwest of Port-au-Prince, 90 km south of Gonaïves and 115 km East Northeast of Les Cayes.

At the moment the civil protection has not reported any damage or casualties.
