MARTELLY LEAVES HAITI WITH HARSH WORDS FOR CRITICS
(Defend Haiti) - By Samuel Maxime

PORT-AU-PRINCE - Before boarding a plane for his trip to Latin America, President of the Republic, Michel Martelly, launched a scathing oration to those who critique his style of management.

President Michel Martelly addressed those who believe he will fall into ruin. "I would like to say to those who campaign for my failure to be careful about how they do it. We are here to defend the interests of Haiti".

The President also commented on economic opportunities in place, stating "Just yesterday, we received a note saying that a company had already deposited $70 million to help build the industrial park in the North, which could create nearly 35,000 jobs. But because of the insecurity in the country and the fact that we have not a government, it raises questions about the relevance of this project ...".

"Again, 35,000 jobs are at stake.... is President Martelly going to be losing or will the country?" he asked in third person.

"I ask the police to do their work in restoring security in the country. I ask the people who have a role to play to participate, since the future of the nation is in your hands. You need to know what you want..." argued the Head of State in an incentive tone.

For Michel Martelly, any sector that tries to use a group to wreak havoc in the country, he asked, in this sense to the people..... to open their eyes as in 2004 when former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide had asked people to "Veye anwo Veye Anba."

Again, the Head of State resumed his campaign promises, saying he wants to offer people the opportunity to live as human beings by changing their living conditions.

" To those who give you money for disorder or who are themselves destroying the country ... I tell you to make the right choice," commented the President.
