We had no effects of Hurricane Irene last night. No rain, and no wind. I was thinking there might be some rain but there has been nothing here in Port-au-Prince. Great for those living in the refuge camps! On the weather reports we here that the northern part of the island is getting rains with some flooding of rivers in certain areas.
Pray for people of other islands and countries who will be in the path of Irene as she moves through the Atlantic. Huricane Irene is now a class 2 hurricane with forecasts of it increasing in strength. Pray it doesn't strengthen.
