Amos was a little scared. It washis first boat ride! We got to have a sea view of the shore. The wooden boat was sturdy too and not leaky!
We passed an anchored sailboat and watched the Haitian Coast Guard boat head out of the harbor.
Canada and the United States are both helping to develop and equip the Haitian Coast Guard so that they can monitor boat traffic; especially the drug trade and smugglers.

It was only a little choppy and we headed past the point of land to get closer for a line of sight on the hospital ship.
