As time drew near for the election protest march to begin people started to get enthusiastic and started to clap in rhythm.
People enthusiastically held their red cards in the air signifying their disapproval for the faulty elections.
As time went on more people started to arrive in the public square of Petionville.
People were chanting anti-government slogans.
Some of the journalists were prepared for any rocks that may be thrown and were wearing helmets.
