The police still had to drive down the opposite side of Delmas as they approached the Delmas 19/Delmas intersection
The vehicle returned to the other side of Delmas again because the side they had been traveling on was starting to cuase problems with obstructions.
Policemen continued to move rubble aside opening the road for vehicle traffic.
Vehicles patiently followed the police vehicle hoping to continue their descent down Delmas under the watchful eye of the police.
Some of the civilian population assisted the police in moving aside rubble.
