photos - election protests #2 - part 18

The people living in the public square are living difficult lives. They have to live in tight surroundings in tents and flimsy shelters .

Some of the people who were part of the protest stood back and watched. Some were experiencing some of the effects of the tear gas.

The people living in the tent camps also experienced some of the tear gas as well.

People have the hopes that one day the crumpled white house seen in the background will be rebuilt along with the city of Port-au-Prince. Right now the lives of the Haitian people are perched like this tray on this vendors head.

The only Nobel peace prize for Haiti comes in the form of this tear gas from "Nobel Securite". Pray that a leader is put in place who will restore peace and security to Haiti and be awarded a Nobel peace prize for his efforts and that the Nobel Tear Gas will disappear.
