As we were walking through the village this mother wanted her picture taken with her son. It was nice and quiet in the village and the people were friendly. Where we had problems was on the main road heading back to Croix des Bouquets. A group of around 30 young guys had blocked the main road but the leader of the group let us through. A couple of the other guys in the group didn't like that idea and whipped the people sitting in the bed of the pick-up truck with a branch. Some excitement for the journey home! Tim's behind wasn't too sore :)
There are always people in the yard and under the shade of a tree is a cool place to relax and work on the computer or play games.
Whitney (green shirt) is enjoying a handheld video game. The young guy next to him looks kind of bored.
Johnny found out last week that he passed his Rheto state exams. This means he has a secondary school graduation diploma for part 1. Part 2 is Philo. It was his second effort at writing the state exam. He will register in Philo this year.
Macdonald is handy with the computer. Tonight he figured out what was wrong with our old computer that wouldn't boot up. He did some tests and then removed the memory card and said to get another one. It is no longer any good Tomorrow we'll get another one.
