GANG LEADER SAINT-HILAIRE APPREHENDED IN CABARET

Frantz Leurbours, the Spokesman of the Police Nationale d'Haiti (PNH) has confirmed, that Wagner Saint-Hilaire, a powerful gang leader, on the run since the January 2010 earthquake, was captured yesterday Wednesday in Cabaret [35 km from Port-au-Prince] by the Departmental Unit for Maintenance of Order (UDMO).
Specialising in car theft and accused of many crimes in the town, Wagner Saint-Hilaire was considered just like "Ti Blanc Pelé" arrested last Saturday, September 10, as one of the 25 most wanted criminals in Haiti.
According to Inspector Joachim Antoine, several firearms were discovered at the home of the gang leader, who is currently in custody at the police station of Cabaret, pending his transfer under guard to the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) for judicial action.
