POLICE ARREST ONE OF HAITI'S MOST WANTED FUGITIVES

SANTO DOMINGO. - The National Police arrested Thursday, a 25-year-old Haitian with double ID, who was a fugitive from the country since January 2010, when he escaped from a jail toppled by the earthquake.
The Haitian Steeve Marie Danley Samel Beuplan and/or Beuplan Hasbousrg Steeve Maris Anley Samuel, who police had described as extremely dangerous was arrested near the United States Consulate.
The Police said the detainee will be handed over to Haitian authorities at the Dominican western border town of JimanĂ at noon Friday.
Dominican Police, who have arrested other fugitives and have repatriated them to Haiti in the last few months, warned that it will continue cooperating with Haiti by locating other fugitives, many of whom escaped during the earthquake.
