photos - jacksonville medical team - part 4

Several people worked the pharmacy sorting and packaging bags of medicine. The new fan that one of our visitors installs works great at keeping everyone cooler in the living room/pharmacy.

Pastor Pierre came down from Kenscoff to do some evangelization. We have evangelical tracts in the creole language that are handed out to the people who are waiting to see a service provider.

The tract we handed out that day was about questions that people ask the most.

It is important to address the spiritual needs as well as the physical needs. As well as giving medicine for good health we try to give medicine for the soul too.

Pastor Laurore came to the clinic with his wife. A few months ago she was hospitalized with a stroke and the day we visited her in the hospital she was paralyzed on one side of her body. She can now walk and has movement in both extremities, with a little weakness on one side. She is only 35 years old and never knew that she had high blood pressure.
