photos - jacksonville medical team - part 5

During the time the team was here there were a couple of epidemics going around. One was the mumps, and the other was chicken pox. These patients were isolated and waited in a different area.

The government of Haiti is organizing a large-scale vaccination program. This will lesson the health-care load of diseases like mumps can be contained by vaccination.

Mothers here in Haiti are the backbone of the families. This woman came with her children to get medical care.

These 3 boys have blue-tinged hair as part of their head fungus treatment. They don't seem to mind the "smurf" look.

This visitor kept everything organized at the registration table and helped triaging cases for the service providors.
