And also musicians on the street. These young men are from some of the area "ra-ra" bands who were celebrating Aristide's return.
This instrument is like a grader with a metal brush sliding along it to make a neat sound.
For several hours the crowds celebrated in front of Aristide's place.
While the red truck partly shown in the photo was waiting in traffic to pass I climbed onto the runner board after asking the driver first in order to get a "cab side view" of the crowd.
