photos - aristide's return - part 9

The man holding the sign with words printed in blue is making a statement commonly said by many people. Translated it reads "We want change for a different Haiti"
People living in the tent camps are tired and frustrated. This sign with red letters translated reads "President Titid, We the people who live in tents, are happy that you are returning to your home".

This sign doesn't need to be translated because it is in english. "Thank you Jesse Jackson for your support". Some American celebrities have been defending Aristide since his departure into exile in 2004.

This woman is wearing a t-shirt with the symbol of people sitting around a table. That is the symbol of the Lavalas political group of which Aristide formed. This woman also is holding a sign which translated reads "We are suffering a lot. We had faith that you would return to your home".

It was interesting to read what was written on the many signs that were held that day. This sign translated reads "The North-West says Welcome Back Titid; Home is home"
