Recently I saw 2 videos about the amputees and the handicapped who live in Haiti. Because of the earthquake there is an increased awareness about the handicapped and their difficulties living in Haitian society. The first video is from a PBS Newhour program and is entitled "Amputees in Haiti Face Different Kind of Healing". The second video entitled "Whirlwind Wheelchair" is about the work of one individual who builds special wheelchairs designed to withstand the tough terrain on the streets of Port-au-Prince.
