photos - haiti - part 6

It is rainy season now and the children are making good use of their rain barrel bathtub!

To help promote hygiene we gave the school children a gift of a wash cloth, toothbrush, toothpaste and comb. We give the Lord thanks for those who donate items to help the Haitian people.

We just finished exam week here at Coram Deo.

I could only bring 2 duffle bags of 50 lbs. each but Annuelle now has a pair of running shoes. Now she doesn't have to borrow shoes from her tent neighbors. She is still complaining of pain from her artificial leg but enjoys being able to walk again. Annuelle will be starting her 5th year of secondary school this year. We hope to support her with her education.

Fadley Pharisien is a 2-year-old boy who is bow-legged. He will possibly be needing braces to correct the bending of his legs. We hope to bring him to Healing Hands in the next couple of weeks.
