photos - british canal - part 9

In Port-au-Prince the biggest problem to overcome is the lack of infrastructure.

The British Red Cross wants a 3 meter canal. They will need to knock a lot of houses to do it!

What is most difficult is that there is a T in the canal. Will they want to run the canal straight and smash through the other houses straight ahead?

This photos shows the T, surrounded by broken buildings everywhere.

The large building on the left is leaning. It is not supposed to be like that. It still needs to be torn down. Someone has built a tarp home right on the T of the canal. A wooden temporary home is beside the tarp home.
