In agricultural circles there is a great deal of discussion around types of seeds, varieties, hybrids, growth, qualities, etc. Haiti Grassroots Watch has done a study on seeds that have been donated as part of the disaster relief efforts here in Haiti. It is interesting and also shows that the "science" of agriculture is not just putting anything in the ground.
